Tip of the Day!
I love that we have explored the paleo/primal lifestyle
and juicing most of our vegetables is just the best ever!!
We juice everyday and mostly we make a green vegetable juice.
My favorite is to mix spinach, apples, lemon, ginger, celery, peppers,
cucumber and squash.
Yum :)

Reboot!
After watching the movie Fat, sick and nearly dead we have been drinking the green juice as often as we can. We love it!
But I really feel I want to do more so I was thinking about 3 days juicing a month.
Here is the meal plan suggested by Join the reboot.

Paleo update....
I've had great response and comments about our paleolithic/primal ways which I love,
so thank's for all the comments :)
I totally forgot to give you the weekly update on our progress
so I thought I would squeeze in a short one now.
During the weekend, an international food market was in town so we cheated with the diet a bit, but the scales moved in the right direction anyway so it's all good.
HOWEVER (and a big one), it seems that the body has become more and more sensitive to crap.....food that is. When we cheat, or eat bad carbs like bread and pasta, my stomach is upset for days....not to mention the heartburn and the pain minutes after eating. If you see me lying down in a restaurant....don't panic! It's just me having indigestion :)
To me, it really shows which foods that are best for you and your digestion. I guess this is a good thing, as it makes you think twice before eating bad stuff. However, is saddens med a bit since it makes it difficult to eat out with friends.
Other than that, we are thinking of getting our body fat % measured (caliper) but I am scared. I don't know why but I feel anxious about it. What if it's totally off the charts? What do I do if I'm thin and obese? I would just kill myself....and another thing is that it's not really tempting to take off your clothes in front of a muscular PT and show off your wobbly bits and then hearing him say....Yep! Just as I suspected, 33% body fat!!!
Other changes that I have been thinking about this past week....brace yourselves!
I have been thinking of going "no soap" (except for the hands). Have you tried it? I would love to know anything and everything about the subject!
I already wash my face with only water with great success so why not the body?
And I'm also transitioning from regular shampoo to SLS free shampoo as well as hand/body soaps.
I guess that's it for this week :)

Paleo update....
Just a quick note on how we are doing :)
Slowly losing more weight!
Still making gains at the gym!
My skin has become soo soft!
and here is a big one:
I have had a huge problem with receeding gums for the last couple of years and it only got worse and worse. My gums felt kind of sore when I brushed my teeth....until now! All of a sudden it felt different brushing my teeth. It felt as he gum has attached itself again. My teeth feel strong and I don't feel sore at all. I mean - that s a miracle in itself!! Too bad I didn't know about this way of eating sooner, could have save me a lot of problems.

Paleo update....
I have been taking one day at a time :)
I do love this way of eating and I have never been more convinced that it's the right way, however it is not always easy. Dairy has been such a big part of our diet (Swedes loves their dairy) so it's difficult to change your mindset of what to cook and how to cook it....
My eczema has really been acting up and I can't figure out why? Maybe the body is detoxing? Anyone that knows?
Other weird things that are happening is that I'm starting to be able to feel any changes within the body. Kind of freaky :) I can feel the minute I ovulate, I can feel when my blood sugar rises....I'm talking about minutes here!! I can also feel when I have eaten something I shouldn't....I get a heartburn from hell as a reminder :) I guess these are all good things but it feels weird.
The best thing about this week has been that my cuticles has become soooo soft! and I have always been troubled by super dry cuticles. Yay!
Have you tried eating Paleo? Or are you already eating like a caveman or woman? I would love to hear about your experiences :)
